GERMANTOWN, Md.; June 4, 2020 – The U.S. Navy has awarded Amentum two task orders under the Seaport NxG contract vehicle.
Under a five-year, a cost-plus-fixed-fee task order, the company’s Intelligence, System Engineering, Security, Services & Solutions (IS4) Strategic Business Unit will provide systems engineering, analytical, logistics and technical on-site support to the Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) Code 286 and Code 287.
“Through this task order, Amentum’s Sustainment, Engineering and Acquisition Sector will continue to support Code 286 and 287 in the areas of surface anti-submarine warfare systems assessments, fleet technical assistance maintenance support, logistics support, and program management support,” said Jill Bruning, Executive Vice President and IS4 General Manager. “We’re proud to extend our strategic partnership with MARMC, which has been in place for more than 20 years.”
The second award, a five-year, firm-fixed price task order, will allow IS4 to continue delivering support services to MARMC’s Modernization Branch, Code 352. Services include alteration coordination engineer support, alteration installation team advance planner support, habitability program logistics support, and Regional Material and Maintenance Coordination Office gatekeeper support services.
Work under the two task orders will be performed at Amentum’s facilities; at MARMC in Norfolk, Va.; at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, Va.; and at other shipyards, government facilities and other Regional Maintenance Center locations within and outside the U.S.
