GERMANTOWN, Md.; January 3, 2023 – Amentum and its C5I Information Warfare Systems (CIWS) organizational unit has been appraised at level 3 of ISACA’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI), endorsing the company’s ability to improve and optimize business performance.

Amentum’s commitment to performing at Maturity Level 3 signals the ability to tackle projects of increased scope and complexity. The CIWS unit at Amentum provides software development solutions supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic Submarine Integration Division. These solutions help the navy deliver acoustic, combat control, electronic warfare, photonics, navigation, and communication systems technology to our submarine warriors. This technology gives the navy the edge needed to retain dominance in the undersea domain.

The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for Maturity Level 3, is established and improved over time.
