Amentum Wins $71.9 Million Contract for Electromagnetic Environmental Effects Test, Evaluation, and Integration Solutions

CHANTILLY, Va., March 25, 2025 – Amentum (NYSE: AMTM) has secured a $71.9 million contract with the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). The contract, named NSWCDD Electromagnetic Effects Division (B50) E3 Test, Evaluation, and Integration Support, leverages Amentum’s proven track record in electromagnetic environmental effects (E3) communication and execution systems, research and development, skilled engineers, digital engineering, and agile, customer-focused approach. Amentum’s technical and engineering solutions will support the Navy’s mission of enhancing decision-making and electromagnetic spectrum capabilities and serve as the E3 battle force interoperability electromagnetic interference problem solver, giving the U.S. the strategic advantage in naval operations.

Amentum will bring its skilled workforce to analyze, plan, design, build, and integrate complex systems and platforms across land, air, maritime, cyber, and space domains. The company will leverage its robust Research and Development (R&D) capabilities to drive innovation and enhance operational effectiveness. Amentum’s Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) framework will migrate systems engineering and design projects from a document-centric approach to a model-centric approach, using formalized digital models.

On this contract, Amentum engineers will provide technical and engineering solutions, including risk identification and analysis, assessments, test and evaluation, integrated logistics, web development and administration, and program and project management.

The contract begins on April 6, 2025, and will last five and a half years. The work will take place in Dahlgren, VA, Norfolk, VA, and San Diego, CA.
