Amentum Commits $200,000 to Help Communities Nationwide Meet the Most Critical Needs Created by COVID-19.

At Amentum, we are guided by our core values. The priorities reflected in the first three core values – safety, integrity, and taking care of our people – have never been more important than they are right now. COVID-19 has challenged us to conduct our mission in new ways and has called upon us to do the right thing as a partner in the communities where live and work. We are proud of our employees who volunteer their time and treasure to support organizations who are on the front lines of need.

To show our support, Amentum has committed $200,000 to help our communities meet the most critical needs as pull together to respond to the hardships created by COVID-19.

Specifically, Amentum has made contributions to food banks in many of the communities where we perform our mission, including:

  • San Antonio Food Bank
  • Three Square (Las Vegas)
  • Celestial Manna (DC Metro)
  • Golden Harvest Food Bank (Augusta, Ga.)
  • Second Harvest Food Bank (Oak Ridge, Tenn.)
  • Second Harvest Food Bank (Tri-Cities, Wash.)
  • Packs for Hunger for Carlsbad School District (Carlsbad, N.M.)

In addition, Amentum has made an emergency contribution to the Yellow Ribbon Fund, to aid the veteran service organization in a time of increased demand as it helps to support the families of our nation’s wounded warriors who are undergoing medical treatment and transitioning to home. Lastly, Amentum is partnering with the American Red Cross to encourage our employees and community partners to donate blood in many locations across the United States during the month of May 2020.
