Critical Infrastructure and Advanced Networks

Home Our Capabilities Digital Transformation Critical Infrastructure and Advanced Networks

Speed is victory in today’s modern high-tempo environment. Being able to rapidly adjust and reconfigure to evolving threats is a decisive advantage. Legacy networking technologies cannot keep up. The Amentum Missile Defense and NORAD groups are experts at updating enterprise networks to new virtualized, software defined networking technologies that support network configuration by mission intent, rather than manual, physically constrained infrastructure. They provide a broad range of highly configurable and responsive technologies that ensure and enhance client missions, allowing new levels of reliability, agility and enabling cost savings while enhancing capability.

The Amentum Network Modernization Team modernized the layer 2 Network architecture, hardware and supporting infrastructure for ~100 bases throughout Europe for the US Army.

Solutions

  • Design, build and operate classified engineering lab to continually develop and test approved software updates before delivery
  • Design, build, host and operate state-of-the art Operations Center for satellite operations and support
  • Perform C4S and cyberspace planning for crisis response, contingencies, continuity of operations and exercise events. Develop, analyze, plan, and source operations support to meet campaign, deliberate, contingency, crisis response, COOP, and exercise requirements.
  • Implement tactical data aggregation and de-duplication, operational data compilation, and strategic analytics and replication.
  • Apply Software defined networking to increase flexibility, resiliency, efficiency, and effectiveness.
  • Employ Automated Workflow Management: sequencing of tasks, actions, or services to achieve a particular outcome, with visibility into workflows through real-time monitoring, logging, and reporting capabilities to track status and identify performance issues
  • Resource Provisioning: Allocation and management of resources dynamically by creating, scaling, and deletion of virtual machines, containers, databases, and other services.
